Directions to the Festival Of Quilts in Rutland, Vermont
FROM THE NORTH:
Take Vermont Route 7 South to the intersection of 7 & 4 in Rutland. Go straight through the light about 1/3 of a mile, turn right onto Madison Street (Christ the King Church will be on your left). Follow Madison Street to the Traffic light. Continue staight through the light onto River Street (you will immediately cross a bridge over railroad tracks). Follow River Street to the end, turn right and the college is a short distance around the corner on your left.FROM THE EAST (New Hampshire):
Take I-89 to Exit 1 in Vermont. Take Route 4 West to the intersection of Routes 4 & 7 in Rutland. Turn left and follow the directions to Madison Street above.FROM THE SOUTH (Mass.):
Take I-91 to Vermont Rout 103 (Exit 6). Follow 103 to Route 7 North. Turn left at the 10th traffic light onto Strongs Ave. (the road forks to the left, Kentucky Fried Chicken will be on your left, Dunkin Doughnuts on your right). Follow Strongs Ave. to the first light and turn left onto River Street (you will immediately cross a bridge over railroad tracks). Follow River Street to the end, turn right and the college is just a short way around the corner on your left.FROM THE WEST (New York):
Take Exit 20 off I-87. Go East on New York Route 149 to Fort Ann. Turn left at the light onto Route 4 East and proceed via Whithall, NY into Vermont were the road will turn into a divided highway with exits. Take Exit 6. Turn left at the end of the exit ramp, then right at the the connection with Business Route 4 (four lane undivided highway). When the highway changes from 4 lanes to 2 (after the traffic light), look for a Mobil station on your right and turn right just before the station onto Ripley Road.
