Meeting format for MLQ Guild:
Maple Leaf Quilters has a variety of Programs: educational, community service oriented and fun!
We meet in September, October, November, February, March, April and May. Our meetings usually feature a guest speaker. One Fall and one Spring speaker holds a full day workshop on the day following the Guild meeting. Every other year we have an Auction of Quilt items and yearly we do hold a Potluck.
January is community service month, with a Saturday meeting to stitch and create a quilt to donate to a local organization to use in their fundraising efforts.
Even years are Quilt show and Raffle Quilt time. They are our primary source of funding.
Odd years we often hold an auction in March...members donate items and often go home with an equal number of "new" treasures.
