2020 Festival of Quilts

Spring 2020  Cancellation

To all our members of the Maple Leaf Quilt Guild and Quilt Enthusiasts:
We have all worked so very hard to bring the 2020 Festival of Quilts to our community on March 28/29, and for this we commend all for their tireless efforts.
However, due to circumstances regarding the coronavirus and heeding the CDC’s recommendations of social distancing, we have decided that it is best for all involved to postpone the show to a future date. Keeping our members safe and healthy is our main concern, and while our show is a thing of beauty, gathering people from all over the Northeast in an enclosed location is a risk that we feel is best to avoid.
We are also cancelling our March 17 meeting, as well as our March 23 Board Meeting. Specifically, the RRMC has suspended all non-hospital meetings in their Leahy Center conference rooms.
There will be a phone call tree set up to contact those members without email access, but if you know of someone, please give them a call and inform them of these decisions.
We hope you all understand our reasoning for these difficult decisions and also hope we all stay healthy in these next few weeks.
